I will buy again when ready. Only for oil CANDLES  On: 2010-03-26Its fine for round-wick oil candles, its smokeless in those, yes. But you dont want to use this in a flat-wick lamp or lantern, it WILL clog the wick and cause it to lose brightness and start smoking badly. You want to use the Medallion oil by the same company (not odorless) or Kleen Heat (odorless) for that sort of wick. NOT odorless! This stuff stinks!  On: 2010-03-17I purchased this oil specifically because of the reviews which indicated that it is odorless and smokeless (its not). We wanted it to use in our oil lamps for power outages, etc. We recently tried to use our lamps with this oil during an outage, and I must say that whoever thinks this stuff is odorless must not have a very sensitive sense of smell. I was able to smell it right away and it was foul. I asked both my husband and daughter (as I tend to be more sensitive then they are to smells) and they both agreed that it does indeed give of an odor that was not pleasant. I ended up having to blow them out and use our candle lanterns & flashlights instead (They do not give off any odor what-so-ever!) If you have a sensitive sense of smell dont buy this - go for candles or propane lamps instead. Lamplight Indoor Lamp Oil On: 2010-03-10It is just indoor lamp oil, which I could not find anywhere, everywhere I looked. So, I did what I usually do, just go to my old friend, Amazon.com, and poof there it was - just what I was looking for, indoor unscented lamp oil for my antique oil lamps. You never know when your power will go on the blink, so I keep the oil lamps handy. Thanks so much! Excellent product. Super fast shipping. On: 2010-02-12This is great lamp oil. It is smokeless & burns well. The shipping on this was super fast. Overall I am very pleased. I will be ordering some more shortly. It's OIL! On: 2009-07-31This stuff is great for burning things. Ive been making Molotov cocktails in order to fight the revolution in my country for years now and this stuff burns people up good without leaving that nasty kerosene smell. Also great for burning zombies up or for defending castles. Clean burning oil On: 2009-06-1145OZ CLEAR ULTRAPURE LAMP OIL There is a world of difference between cheap colored oil you buy in discount stores and clear pure buring lamp oil. This product was priced right and they provided a fair amount for the price. We burn lamp oil on board our boat at times since it gives off a warm light. The last thing I want to be doing is cleaning soot off the salon ceiling and cleaning the lamps that burn the oil. Save yourself the headache and start with clean oil, then continue using it. I have seen some very over priced oil and at first tried those products. Since using this brand, I have no reason to change. burns clean On: 2007-12-10This product does what it says. It burns very clean and is also reasonably priced! The only oil for indoor use On: 2007-10-25Once you try this liquid parafin, you will never use anything else. It is absolutely odorless and smokeless. |
