This is exactly what I was looking for. Helps putting out candles in awkward places and prevents sprays of unwanted wax from going everywhere.

Well worth it

They are nice enough to be left out. Though not elaborate, they are charming and well worth the price. Everything else I have seen is much more and not as nice. Also the delivery was quicker then expected.

Nice for the Price

My mother collects these things and she couldnt believe I got this so cheaply. I think most of hers are pewter. She has ones that are flowers, birds, beehives, lighthouse and others. I prefer simple things so this was just what I was after. It definitely works to snuff candles and different shaped candles. I have mostly round and pillars but it works for both. It hasnt tarnished yet and I have had it several months. I like it and do recommend it for practical use.

I really like the snuffer. This was the only company besides Partylite that sells candles snuffers. I cant believe stores actually would tell me just blow out the candle. Thank you.

Nickel plated candle snuffer

My wife had been looking for a candle snuffer at stores and online before I checked Amazon. She found none that were not outrageously priced. This nickel plated snuffer with suspended bell looks beautiful next to a candle display and remains untarnished in our seaside home. Best of all, it works. No more blowing candle wax across the fireplace mantel.

It's a candle snuffer! It... well.. snuffs candles.

Ill give it 5 stars, cause, well, it is what it is: a candle snuffer. It snuffs candles. Thats... pretty much its job.

Its quite attractive...?

Turns out, though, snuffing candles is kind of messy and rather impractical. Maybe Im doing it wrong. You know... put snuffer over wick. Wait. Remove snuffer. Its not really any better than blowing the candle out and youll probably get wax on the snuffer.

Luckily, the wax wipes off easily. Maybe that has to do with the nickel plating. Im just guessing.

Anyway, if you wanted a candle snuffer to snuff candles with, well, you probably dont need one, but maybe thats not the point. This candle snuffer will indeed snuff candles, and do as fine of a job of it as any candle snuffer can be expected to do.
